Howdy!

I was four, it was 1999 and I witnessed my dad throw a camera into the trash. Though at the time I had no idea what that was. So, did what any four year old would, I went over, reached into the trash, retrieved the weird item and brought it to my mum. “What is this I asked?” I asked. “ Well it’s a camera ,” she responded. “what does it do?” … and that’s all it took. I was hooked.

Since then photography and videography has been a huge part of my life not only as a hobby and a source of joy but also as large part of my professional life.

After high school I joined the military and with a mix of luck and aptitude I was able to become a combat photographer traveling all over the world taking photos for the US military. During this time I also photographed events, my friends and anything I found interesting.

After ten years I left the military and went back to school where I earned my BA in Journalism and discovered a love of music photography, which I have now been doing regularly for four years.
